I am at a place where a mountain and a beach are together.
From the peak of that lonely mountain
I would watch the tides crashing at its feet
I want to ride on the clouds and dive into the ocean,
But the mountain holds me back saying, “I am your home”.
But I have no home, no strings, just wings
Open your palms and let me fly away into the abyss.
Let me tumble down from your shoulders
Let me get hurt, Pain is my only ally
It is the only thing keeping me alive
Happiness would have killed me by now
My empathy is fading,
My brain is in a poker mode
The heart does not want love anymore
Thoughts have dozed off and mind is foggy.
Laughs do not stay
Smiles do not stay
words do not flow through my pen easily life before
I do not recognize myself anymore
The only constant is the waning and waxing of the moon.
